Equality For All
SGA and STARS’ students from the Batesville Job Corps Center attended a youth meeting held by the, William Winter Institute for Racial Reconciliation at the University of Mississippi. Consisting of the University's past and present students, the panel discussed ways to work with low income people from various areas in Mississippi to promote equality. STARS students also meet former Mississippi Governor William Winter. Winter, who served from 1980 to 1984, was the state's 58th governor.
