The data integrity workgroup is requesting input from various Job Corps stakeholders on the revised Program Assessment Guide (PAG), prior to its release in September 2006.
The workgroup was tasked with revising the PAG to include tools for testing the validity and reliability of performance outcomes, methods to document the tests, and recovery of costs associated with misreporting of data. The workgroup has recommended several revisions designed to expand the focus of assessments to include more emphasis on quality assurance and policy compliance.
The initial draft was presented to the Federal Managers for comment in the spring of 2006. Since then, policy changes and additional audit tools were developed and incorporated into the revised PAG. The data integrity workgroup was also expanded to include contractor, agency, NTC, and JC support staff who provided valuable guidance on the development the revised PAG.
The workgroup is asking the Job Corps community to review the PAG at http://www.jccdrc.jobcorps.gov and provide comments, suggestions, or additional assessment strategies.
