About Clusters Concept Paper - DRAFT

The purpose of this concept paper is to provide several brief explanations of the terms "cluster" and "clustering" as they are used among various practitioners across the country, and to relate those terms in a very practical way to the Job Corps community and the implementation of the New Vision. It highlights three cluster-based approaches that have developed organically within Job Corps and offers some preliminary common design elements that are shared across them. Also included are an appendix with background information on career clusters, a glossary of relevant terms and additional resources.
