Move a young person forward – Offer to MENTOR
Mentors serve as advocates and positive role models, helping Job Corps students overcome barriers. Mentors are volunteers who serve as:

- Advocates for their student for the successful completion of Job Corps
Mentors provide their mentee partners with new avenues for:
- Communication and self-expression
- Help set life and career goals
- Personal and social development
Mentors encourage independence and self-sufficiency, enabling their partners to make sound decisions and set realistic goals. The quality of the mentor/mentee relationship in large part determines the potential success of the mentee in meeting their goals.
